Whether you’re completely new to working with clay or looking to refine your skills, this self-guided pottery course will teach you the fundamentals of throwing on the wheel and explore creative ways to shape functional and decorative ceramics.
You’ll start by mastering the basics of the pottery wheel, from centering clay to forming bowls, vases, and other sculptural pieces. Then, we’ll experiment with combining wheel-thrown pottery with hand-building techniques to add unique textures and artistic elements to your work.
